Monitor large civil engineering works and their environmental impact with accuracy and cost effectively

Large Civil Engineering Works usually financed by funding agencies face increasing requirements for report the work progress, their environmental impact and the nature compensation program progress they have agreed on.

This requires innovative methodologies to be able to integrate progress or map biodiversity landscape at scale, frequently, cost effectively and effortlessly.

Ground-based topographic surveys require extensive logistics, multiple field missions, and significant effort to reconcile and integrate fragmented data.

Even with drones, coverage is limited, requiring multiple flights and careful georeferencing, adding complexity and operational constraints.  Multiple flights comes also with different atmospheric conditions which add more difficulties to create consistency across the infrastructure.

Disaitek has developed the first platform that suits to specific conditions of large civil engineering work. This solution largely relies on satellite observations in very high resolution that ensure consistent and reliable data over kilometers of work in a single acquisition

Disaitek's Comprehensive Solution

Our platform covers two main domains and will befenfit soon with the risk management domain that will focus on deformation and water leak

Civil Work Domain

Are you struggling to effortlessly and accurately measure infrastructure progress on your civil works?

Our comprehensive platform streamlines infrastructure monitoring by digitizing technical designs, precisely tracking construction progress, and ensuring full traceability of excavation activities. Using advanced stereo imagery, we provide detailed, actionable insights into your project's evolution.

Environmental Domain

Did you commit to requirements for demonstrating and tracking your environmental impact mitigation?

Accurately monitoring environmental assets at a large project scale is challenging: national agencies often lack precise, near-real-time data, while drone surveys and ground operations can't feasibly cover extensive areas.

Our platform overcomes these challenges by precisely mapping and monitoring all critical environmental assets—including trees, shrubs, hedgerows, specific plant species, and biodiversity zones—with meter-level accuracy. Track changes over time to reliably measure your environmental impacts.

Risk Management Domain

Worried about risks near your sourcing areas impacting your compliance?

Leverage our advanced SAR interferometry technology to generate millimetric deformation velocity maps, allowing proactive risk assessment of your infrastructure.

For water-related infrastructure, efficiently detect and assess water leakage to protect public safety and mitigate biodiversity loss.

CIVIL WORK DOMAIN

  • Our platform digitizes and georeferences the technical designs of infrastructure projects—including buildings, bridges, locks, water bridges, canals (biefs), railways, embankments, and roads—directly compatible with BIM exports. This process clearly defines targets in terms of elevation, concrete volumes, and backfill requirements.

  • Monthly stereo images are acquired to generate precise Digital Surface Models (DSMs), which are systematically compared against project targets. This enables accurate monitoring of progress in elevation and volume, expressed both numerically and as percentages.

  • Excavation activities and new backfill operations are automatically detected between consecutive stereo observations, providing critical insights and traceability of excavated materials.
